Our vision is to be the most progressive global law firm. For us, "progressive" is a mindset, an approach to how we do things. We instinctively take a fresh perspective on situations, exploring whether there are better ways of delivering practical, commercial solutions to the challenges our clients face in today's rapidly changing business landscape.
We aim to be renowned internally and by our peers for diversity. A commitment to best practice in diversity and inclusion will facilitate the achievement of our long-term business strategy and leverage the people and culture which are our key strengths.
We are proud employers of LGBTI staff. Our networks across the UK (London and Glasgow) and Australia (Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney) are collectively known as "Spectrum". Spectrum supports the firm's LGBTI population and works to raise awareness of issues relevant to and affecting that population and the wider LGBTI community. The networks actively welcome members from offices outside the UK and Australia. Two partner LGBTI champions (one in Australia, one in London) sit on our global Diversity & Inclusion Advisory Group with specific responsibility for LGBTI issues globally. Our global action plan sets out the key priorities and is reviewed annually.
We benchmark ourselves with the Australian Workplace Equality Index (for which we were awarded Bronze tiering on our first submission in 2016) and the Workplace Equality Index in the UK (in which we improved our ranking by over 80 places between 2013 and 2016).
We are committed to being a sustainable global law firm which delivers positive impacts for our employees, clients, profession, environment and the communities in which we are based. We are a people oriented firm with a strong values led culture.
